Another Frank Costanza?

I keep hearing that a second actor (besides Stiller) briefly played Frank Costanza. Did this episode ever air?

Hers something i found in the episode guide about "The Stakeout"....

NOTE: When this episode is shown in syndication, Phil Bruns still plays Jerry's dad (a role later assumed by Barney Martin). This is unlike George's dad, who was played by one actor, replaced by Jerry Stiller, and footage was re-shot with Jerry taking over the original dad's part in "The Handicap Spot".

Y'know, I didn't realize they had switched actors 'til I was about 20 years old. I simply never noticed it! Pretty amazing, eh?

3. Bailey had inner beauty and a fresh clean look that Jennifer, with her implants and caked on make-up, could never hope to attain. Besides, Andy Travis always had it bad for Bailey Quarters, and I always liked Andy.

4. MaryAnn topped Ginger by a mile for just about the same reasons. MaryAnn was wholesome and natural, Ginger was a phony from the get-go, with no men to hit on but Skip who was to 'physically imperfect' for a 'big movie star' to even consider, the Professor was too wrapped up in making radios out of coconuts to pay her much attention, and her obvious target in the real world, the rich old man married to the wrinkled hag, somehow eluded her the entire time on the island. And then there's Maynard G. Krebs, but he was too simpleminded to understand seduction. So, MaryAnn it is.

Got a few more. Which of the daughters from "Just the Ten of Us" was the hottest? The blonde bimbo, the really dumb brunette, the really smart brunette or the ultra-religious brunette?

Who would you rather have 'known', Blair from "The Facts of Life" or Kimberly from "Different Strokes"? (Note, they were both from very wealthy families.)

Blech! Both were pretty irritating. :-)

I'd probably pick Option #3: Jo (Nancy McKeon) from "The Facts of Life", assuming she was able to drop that NY accent.

I never saw it. I never saw anyone but jerry stiller play the part, however, there are two versions o this one. George became his father's butler in this one and the one i saw was definitely J.S.
