The "Kramer episode" of Mad About You was rerun ins yndication yesterday o Channel 38 in Boston and presumably elsewhere. Interestingly, Mad About You took a much darker view of Kramer than on Seinfeld: Paul Buchman is a friend of Kramer's, but he's also afraid of him. Kramer is quite not as harmless a weirdo as he appears on Seinfeld: Paul sees a more destructive Kramer.
The story was, basically: Paul Buchman had been subletting his old bachelor pad to Kramer. Jamie talked Paul into letting go of the apartment, which was evidently a rental not a co-op--- so Paul goes over to the apartment in the third act to tell Kramer he can be the prime tenant.
The funniest gag was at the beginning. Paul is standing out in the hallway working up the courage to open the door, when Kramer obliviously bursts out of the door and slams into Paul--- Kramer was obviously on his way to make a Kramer Entrance at Jerry's place.
Anyway, you'll have to wait six months to see Kramer on Mad About You again :-) Or is it three?
