Mike, I never received the original post, possibly he canceled it after reading your response. Anyway, if you forward the original with full header info to gotoworld, they will promptly cancel his account.

Check this page http://206.111.39.131/getpaid/inactive_members.asp and you'll see that gotoworld really does back up their words.

I guess it depends on the newsreader software. Netscape has a Cancel Message option on the Edit menu. If you post something, then change your mind, you refresh the newsgroup, click on your own post, then click Edit/Cancel Message. I would think it should be a feature in most newsreaders. Check the Help file, maybe you can do it but don't know it.
