Agreed! He's one of my favorite actors, which was somewhat of a surprise to me--I didn't quite realize it until I looked back at all the great (and often daring) films he's been in.

She's funny. I think only Lucy and Carol Burnette (maybe) very funnier better. She should stick with comedy. A shame her rep as a prima donna gets her zero parts. What a waste.
Julia is in a class by herself. Lucy was too over the top to be really funny. Carol Burnette's acting wasn't that great. Just watch Julia in every scene, even when she has no lines, she really holds the thing together. Same goes for Jason playing George. They both do the whole range of acting so well, it almost isn't acting.

I believe it originated in this newsgroup about a week and a half ago. I've never heard it anywhere else.

For what it's worth, *everyone* has bad days, especially when working in stressful situations. I'm not saying she's a peach--I really don't have any first-hand info--but I'm always suspicious of rumors. Particularly those that are spread by just a single person and with no supporting evidence--looks like you've gone out of your way to recently post four messages in two different threads calling her a "bitch", a "prima donna", and claiming she has a "notorious attitude" and a "bad rep".

I've worked with her several times and she's a dream. I can't imagine a more pleasant, cooperative actress to work with.
Usually, when you meet those people who say they met someone and they were a bitch, once you press them for details, you get a story like, "I approached her in a restaurant. She was feeding her baby and paying the bill and she had just knocked over a glass of water and I asked her for an autograph and she said 'not now.'"
Actors are allowed to have bad days like anyone else. I've never seen J L-D be anything but pleasant. -W.
