Seinfeld and basketball

Did anyone see JS on TV during the Knicks-Bulls game last night? He was sittin g next to some good looking babe.

After the game, Jerry was on the NYC/Madison Square Garden Network post game show, "Live from the Play by Play" with Mike Francesa and Willow Bay. Jerry was amazed that (very loosely paraphrasing) "they still go for the head fake. I mean we used to do that on the playground in elementary school and the other kid went for it. You'd think that at the NBA level they wouldn't go for the head fake anymore!"

He also mentioned how he admired Mugsy Bogues (he's only 5' 7" or so).

Rob Reiner was also a guest. Rob is apparently a bigwig at Castle Rock - the company that produces Seinfeld. Rob said his job is to leave Jerry alone and let him do his thing. He spoke about his family's involvement with the Dick Van Dyke show - a pioneer comedy of its time, All in the Family - certainly a groundbreaking comedy, and now Seinfeld - which he believes reads new water in comedy today.

He later appeared on "Live From the Play-By-Play" with Mike Francessa. This is a show that appeared on MSG (Madison Square Garden) television network after every Knick or Ranger home game this season. Last night's show was actually the last one for this season, since form this point on, all the Knick games will be shown on NBC (or perhaps some on TNT... I'm not sure... in any case, none on MSG).

Jerry was moderately humorous. The funniest thing he said was how amazed he is that at the level of the NBA "they still go for the fake!"
