Patty's Knicks tickets

Here is an illogical partof the October 9 episode. Patty, who dosen't appear to be a Knicks fan, has apparently purchased or come up with two Knicks ticket for opening night. Yet she gives away the tickets without telling Jerry (who she knows just loves the Knicks) so the twosome can go to some nouveau cuisince restaurant. Why would Patty go through all that trouble to buy coveted Knicks tickets and then just give them away? Wouldn't she at least tell Jerry before she gives them away and plans the dinner date? More likely, Jerry would buy the Knciks tickets and would take Kramer. Since Jerry is totally selfcentered, he wouldn't even think of inviting, let alone telling Patty, that he was going to the Knicks game.

No. By that point, he had already gotten mad and couldn't stop it. And I can imagine my wife doing something like giving the tickets away to a big game because she wanted to do something else, although the fact that Patty bought them makes it seem artificial.
