Male Unbonding - an observation

I know that many a time in here people have discussed who lives on which floor in Jerry's building. Usually these threads pertain to Newman. However, last night I was watching "Male Unbonding". There is a scene where Jerry and George walk and talk down Jerry's hallway. As they get to Jerry's apartment it's labeled "411" in more elaborate titling than the more familiar "5E" we see in future episodes. I understand why shows make changes in the early days on stuff like who the actor is who plays Jerry's father, as well as who the actor is who plays George's father (a scene re-shot for syndication), but why change the floor they live on? Anyone have a clue? And I apologize if this answers has been given in the past. Thanks.

I believe Jerry is in 5A, Kramer in 5B, and Newman in 5E.

While we're on the subject of apt #'s .......... in the Strong Box, the bird owners are on the same side of the hall as Kramer, so how did they get 5C ? Shouldn't it have been 5D ?

(Was always waiting for the chance to point this out.)
