No sleep

I'm on no sleep this morning. While I was making my morning visit to alt.fan.seinfeld, I remembered there are some episodes in which the characters in the show got little or no sleep the night before. What are some of those episodes?

Kramer in "The Wife"... (K: "Got any coffee?" J: "Yeah. <Kramer lurches into the kitchen, trips, and falls onto the kitchen floor.> I'll get it, I'll get it! Take it easy, why are you so tired?" K: "My quilt is still at the cleaners. Jerry, I can't sleep without my quilt. Like the other night? I was cold. So, last night, I turn up the heat - it's too hot. I open up a window - it's too cold. I can't get into a zone!"

Elaine in "The Cartoon"... (E: "Well boys, I did it. I had to stay up all night but I finally came up with a great New Yorker cartoon." J: "I stay up all night, I fix myself up a little before I go out." E: "That is not the point." J: "Some mouthwash, a hat, something...")

Kramer's "Da Vinci" sleep in the "The Friars Club."

Jerry falling asleep on the subway in "The Subway."

Elaine was delirious from fasting in "The Suicide," which is kinda the same thing... :)

Wow, nice work everybody. There were a lot more references than I had thought. I would also like to add the Contest to the list, where everyone but Kramer had trouble sleeping at night.

Kramer had the episode when his blanket was at the drycleaners (Jerry got a discount for him) and could not sleep without it Kramer also had trouble sleeping due to a neon sign outside his window. He and Jerry swapped apartments and it was then Jerry who couldn't sleep Kramer also had the odd all night party/poker game

Elaine had the occasion with the alarm next door that wouldn't shut off She also had an accasion with a cat shut in next door which Kramer fed with the aid of his meat slicer (sliding the meat under the door)

In one episode Jerry was dating a Miss America candidate. Kramer was the womans manager. In a hotel room one night Jerry couldn't sleep due to pigions on the balcony. He threw a bucket of water on them which killed them. The pigions were the womans stage act.

There was also an episode with an African (I think - John Paul) marathon runner entered into the New York marathon. He had missed the Olympic race as his alarm had not gone off. Jerry took it upon himself to ensure the guy got to the start line on time but ended up depriving John Paul of sleep the entire/or most of the night.

I'm under the impression that John Paul got plenty of sleep on Jerry's couch in "The Hot Tub"- they even show him sleeping peacefully when Kramer's heat pump shorts out the power. He and Jerry simply overslept as a result of the outage (also because Kramer "hit the snooze on his mental alarm").

clowns, there is also the episode with kenny rogers chickens when jerry switches appt's with Kramer and then he says "I'm on no sleep" ala-Kramer way.

There is also the episode with Courtney Cox, when Kramer is getting no sleep because he does not have his regular Quilt.

Haven't seen this one mentioned: in "The Engagement", Elaine can't sleep because of the barking dog, which she and Kramer and Newman end up kidnapping...

And this is a bit of a strecth, but in "The Apartment", the tenants who take over the apartment over Jerry (instead of Elaine) was a rock band that practiced nightly; I imagine that might have affected Jerry's sleep!

Also a stretch, but in "The Trip", George has a bit of trouble getting to sleep because the maid tucked in his sheets.

Not exactly the same thing, but George sleeps under his desk at the office at Yankee Stadium, Kramer falls asleep on the tanning bed, and Kramer falls asleep on his date and gets thrown in the East River.
