The last episode tried to preach a sermon rather than let the show end on a natural high!! It was always my opinion that the selfishness of the characters caused them much more misery than they could inflict on others, and the fact that they led such empty, self-absorbed lives was enough punishment for them. Some of the people that ended up on the receiving end of their so-called nastiness weren't very nice people themselves, so I think that the whole premise of the last show was a big stretch!!!!!! I think that we all "deserve our money back" so to speak for loyally following a show that spit in our faces at the end with a shallow, unfunny, unresolved plot!! Maybe if Jerry would have stopped fooling around with his rather young girlfriends, he might have been able to put together an ending that was funny, and in the spirit of the whole series!! I think that he owes us one more show to make up for the series ending disaster, and I bet that many of us in this newsgroup could do a better job of writing a series finale than Jerry did!!!!!! What do you think????
Worst Episode = Last Episode!!!!!!
Well I have to admit, the series finale wasn't as bad as everyone has made it out to be. It's like Frasier this season; good tv wise, bad that show wise. True, the Seinfeld finally was a let down as far as Seinfeld fans are concerned, but I couldn't think of anything better to watch that night on tv (unless someone was rerunning the M*A*S*H finale, but what were the chances of that?).
And yes, call me vein, but I think I could have written a better script for the finale. I do a lot of script writing (I'm working on three original series at the moment...now I just need to sell them to a network) and I think with a little work I could have come up with something more. Of course I would have avoided jail and gone for marriage instead.

I thought it was a creative idea that just ended bad. You can't expect them to meet your every demand. Besides, its Seinfeld; all the episodes are good!

Personally, I believe that the Final Episode sucked. They had too much of a story to it. (If that's even possible!) I think they should have ended it just like every other episode...about nothing at all!! Just thought I'd give ya my two cents.... see ya!

First of all, Jerry Seinfeld owes "us" (the viewers) nothing. Second, with all the hype surrounding the last episode, I don't think it could have EVER lived up to what everyone wanted. I'm of the opinion that the last episode wasn't great, but it was good, and I think a fitting ending. It probably would have been more "Seinfeldish" if the last episode had been just a "normal" episode with no real reslution or anything. The whole point of the whole series was to be funny, not to be realistic or teach a moral. So, the way the show ended was pretty funny IMHO.
