Kramer-old and new

You know I think the main reason that the new episodes seem different is Kramer. He used to be more laid back and less overdone on the facial expressions and weird voice. It seems like Michael Richards is really going overboard on all the strange facial expressions and wavery voice. Remember how he used to talk pretty normal, but end up yelling and things? That was funny. Now he mostly talks quietly and with a different tone, as well as blinking more and putting air in his cheeks. I guess that's funny looking too, but I liked the yelling Kramer better.

It liked the old Kramer better too. He's becoming a little bit of a caricature of himself maybe. And I liked the old Elaine better. The long dresses, and the little white sox with the Dorothy from Kansas shoes. But the main thing is : Seinfeld is like pizza. You see, there's no such thing as bad pizza. Just some is better than others.

Great analogy! I often use the pizza part to refer to Chinese food. There is no bad Chinese food, only better, and the same can be said for Seinfeld.

I disagree. I really think that Elaine is the most changed. I liked her more when she was a little less sure of herself and more preppie. Now she is more sexually promiscuous and is more into her own problems. Do you notice how she seems to breeze in more with her life probs but does not sit and anyalize one of the guys' probs now. She just waves it off with a "whatever". They took her character into a new direction. There used to be more conversations with her and Jerry that resulted in catch phrases\things "he's a regifter" "yes he's one of those bounders" you know. I'm just trying to sum up and I don't think I'm doing such a good job.

Yeah, you did a good job. But I think it is not JUST Elaine who is not having the conversations. Think of all the other 'Seinlanguage' that came out of earlier episodes, regifter, its a shame, not that there's anything..., low talker, magic loogy, etc... The entire writing has changed this year (sorry Dave) to broad situational comedy and away from the conversation interchanges.
