these first season episodes....

I'm assuming most of us are now seeing the first season in syndication. I tell ya, the thing I hate the most about these early episodes are how incredibly whiny George is. His voice gets all high pitched and whiny about the smallest things. I realize he overexaggeratedly freaks out over the smallest things throught the Seinfeld journey, but he is particularly annoying in the early episodes.

plus there are the awkward pauses and the changing inconsistency of scenary, but all in all it's still fun to watch how it started and what made us hooked.

Jason Alexander (George) once said that for the first few episodes of Seinfeld he played George like a Woody Allen type character, it was only as the series progressed that George developed into the (less whiny!) George that we all recognise from the later shows.
