George's best lines thread

I'm surprised George's story of breaking up with Marlene - the wacko southern belle who ends up dumping Jerry because she thinks his stand-up is "just so much fuff (sp?)" - never made it on to the George's-best-lines thread. He compared it to making a prison break, at one point likening her starting to swear at him to the guards shooting: "Son of a bang! Son of a boom!" This is an older episode, back when George used to be funny sometimes in a laugh-with sense rather than always laugh-at.

Agreed.

Also, on the subject of George's best lines, one has been popping into my head quite frequently lately. It's from the episode where he goes to be interviewed by his father's friend, Sol Farkas, for the job as a bra salesman. George is speaking of his love for brassieres, and he says, "Two cups in the front, two hooks in the back. How do they do it?" The way he delivers the line, with such faked awe in his voice, is marvelous!

I realize I slightly misquoted this line. It's:

"Two loops in front. Two hooks in back. How do they do it?"
