Fans discuss which Seinfeld character would be most successful in a spin-off, with most skeptical that any character could match the show's ensemble chemistry.
If any of the main characters from Seinfeld (Jerry, Kramer, Elaine, and George) were to do a spin off of their character in Seinfeld, which character do you think would be the most successful? I think Elaine or George would survive.

Spinoffs would have worked way better than what we've seen from these three.
People care about "George", "Elaine" and "Kramer". They don't care about Bob Patterson, Ellie and whomever Michael Richards was trying to portray.
Big mistake to create brand new vehicles for these three actors.

Jackie is really funny, but I wouldn't watch a whole sitcom with him as the main character. It would be pretty much the same all the time.
Face it, In Seinfeld, Jackie does somewhat the same thing in every episode he's in. Fairly the same jokes (giving 3 or 4 synonyms for a description is his favorite). I think it wouldn't be funny for a whole 30 minutes every week. However, seeing him (I dunno) coming back in Seinfeld for another episode was funny, when you had seen him in previous episodes.

New characters could include Newman's supervisor at the Post Office, plus a couple of co-workers..and other new characters; (perhaps, for example, "Jimmy the Butcher", (market), who Newman regularly seeks life advice from.)
First episode could entail Newman moving into Jerry's apartment, after Jerry had moved out...perhaps to California to do his sitcom. (We wouldn't actually see Jerry in show.) So, in effect, the show would take place in Jerry's apartment, just like "Seinfeld", and Newman would be "moving in" to the spotlight. Kramer would still live across the hall.
