Dichotomy-Mad About You/Seinfeld:

I have also wondered about the regular castigation of MAY in this newsgroup. I generally enjoy it although it's no Seinfeld. I find Helen Hunt very appealling and Paul Reiser is usually pretty funny. It seemed to me that this show was pretty compatible with Seinfeld in terms of style, attitude, intended audience, and subject matter (which is often, though lamentably not always, about nothing). It occurs to me that the show may appeal more to married people than to singles, for the same sort of reason that married people sometimes make single people sick but get along fine iwth other couples. Those of you who hate MAY, are you single? Are they too cute? Do you feel similarly about actual married people you may know? Just wondering...
