I was looking through some old episodes and I wonder about some things:

In "The Old Man" you see Kramer and Newman trying to sell some old records in a second hand store. Is the record store man the same as Joe Davola? He looked very alike...

In "The Handicap Spot" we see George's father...but who is this guy? This was not Jerry Stiller which I've thought always had been George's father. Has he only been in one episode? When was the first episode he appeared in? And when did the "real" father appear?

Record store man was played by Tobin Bell and Davola Peter Crombie.

Frank Costanza was played originally by John Randolph for that show only. Then they changed to Jerry Stiller and these scenes were reshot for syndication.

first question it is not crazy joe davola it's another actor. question two-john randolph played georges father in the handicapped spot episode-you remember him as nicholson's father in prizzi's honor-the scenes were reshot w/ jerry stiller for syndication purposes.
