Now that we are learning a lot more about Seinfeld watching the extras on the DVD's, I would like recommend the book "Seinfeld and Philosophy: A Book about Everything and Nothing" by William Irwin to give even more insight in the Seinfeld universe!

I second this. Seinfeld and Philosophy is the best book on the show I've ever read. Deep philosophical insights into every character on the show, not ust the main 4. I think the chapter I enoyed most was the one about J. Peterman and Ideology, it almost makes me want to reinvent myself.
There is a whole series of these "Phlosophy and" books, written by college philosophy professors. I own several and they are every bit as good as the Seifeld and Philosophy book. Here are a few titles, go over to Amazon and read the reviews:
