Don't get me wrong, Seinfeld is my favourite ever American show, but as it's always recognised as being ground-breaking and innovative, wouldn't it have been better to not have the two clip shows? That just stinks of regular sitcom laziness.
Sure, it was nice to see some of the best bits and some outtakes but I feel the time could've been used more productively.
Of course, it might've been ground-breaking _not_ to celebrate the 100th episode at all.
Maybe it's just me - I HATE CLIP SHOWS.

Look on the bright side, Seinfeld only did it twice. Most other sitcoms do a clip show every two or three seasons and try to frame it into a lame and obvious story. On the whole we were lucky.
