excuse me, newbie here, but i wanted to know how many people out there get a kick out of these ridiculously sounding (fake) movies seinfeld and friends go to see? it's almost like an inside, recurring joke. last night's "sack lunch" has got to be one of the best, but my other personal favorites are "chunnel" and "firestorm" (which, by the way, they went and saw over several episodes)
any other mock-movies i missed?
My favorite was "Death Blow" from The Little Kicks. I love it when Jerry and Kramer are outside and Kramer says "We're missing the death blow!"

I think these movie titles are realistic. Sack Lunch is almost like a spoof on "Honey I shrunk the kids". I thought "Rochelle Rochelle" was a hilarious one and turning it into a musicle was pure gold. At fist I thought they were losing it by using a real movie (The English Patient) but it served a severe criticle purpose in life so I let it go as an excellent choice. Lets also not forget "Blame it on the rain" and "Means to an End" from The Pizanos.

It IS. A lot of those titles are spec scripts that Larry David, the creator wrote and couldn't get made. PROGNOSIS NEGATIVE is one and FIRESTORM is another. I don't know about all the rest, but I suppose this is what Larry David is doing now, writing more movie thriller scripts. Also, ever notice that whenever they are in front of the movie theatre, all the movie posters are for Castle Rck films, BEYOND RANGOON, A FEW GOOD MEN, AMERICAN PRESIDENT, etc....

Yes and no. For one, it's called Plan 9 from Outer Space, and it was a science fiction movie from the 50's (?) directed by Ed Wood (whose own life was made into a movie two years ago starring Johnny Depp). From what I've heard, it's supposed to be the worst movie ever made, but it's considered a cult classic because of this.
What about that one called "Checkmate" or something like that. It had a name pertaining to chess but I can't remember. Oh well.
Don't forget the classic "Prognosis Negative" and what was the other one... oh yeah. "Ponce De Leon".
