Someone in the cast said the woman writer (Elaine was hoping to edit her book) was Finnish or Icelandic, but had a Spanish accent, at least it sounded like that to me. Was I imagining things??

No kidding...I have some Finnish friends...their accent doesn't sound anything like that author's!

Yes, Rava the allegedly Finnish writer was given more of a mock Russian accent by that actress.
They may have got the accent wrong, but everything else was spot on! Ever met any Finnish girls?
