People will kill me...

Anyone else think JLD looks absolutely terrible on the cover of that magazine?

What magazine??? I haven't seen the "New Woman", but on the Rolling Stone cover she is the complete KNOCKOUT!!! I think i am on the third or fourth eight count just from looking at the cover. And if I were on a 'stare master' I'd be starring big time...

I don't know what it is about the picture...it just doesn't seem right. I don't think it's so much her, but more of the photo as it's laid out on the page. You know when you take a standard photo and cut it out, and then try to paste it to a new background...it just doesn't work.

Kinda like the old movies where our hero/heroine are racing away in the getaway car and it's painfully obvious that they're sitting in a stationary car with some movie being shown on a screen behind them.

Too bad, I think.

I think the main problem with it is that it's not very well color balanced.

I noticed this while trying to scan it. The whole thing is a bit too yellow and this throws off parts of it in different ways. But the background is pure white so color correction becomes difficult.

Plus, with my 4"x6" usable scanning area, I'm not able to get enough vertically for it to fit on my 800x600 Workbench, sniffle sniffle... I have to either cut off George or Kramer, or use a superbitmap and scroll back and forth. Oh, well... I'll stick with the Fab Four backdrop picture.
