Hello...

<<<SPOILER ALERT for those in West Ethiopia and the former Soviet Union >>> . . . I frequently see advertisements for Jookie Cola when watching episodes of NBC's Friends and Seinfeld. My English is poor and I do not understand two things, my friend:

    1) I cannot understand the young man who yells "I won a Jookie sock!!!".
How many cans of Jookie must I drink to win the sock?
    2) Is the "Jookie Sea Captain" a real person? Commercial did not explain
what I must do to qualify for the "Sea Captain".

Thank you much, my friends.

David

Test...Test... Can anyone see this???? Hey!!!!!!!!!!! Hey!!!!!!

What's a "troll"? No, its just me (David) trying to test out my newsgroup software (Internet Explorer 4.0)....

In answer to your question, 'rr.com' is RoadRunner -- a cable-based Internet provider owned by TimeWarner. Because I am in San Diego, I was assigned the suffix 'san.rr.com'...

To those who responded by EMail, thanks for all of great Jookie tips!

Junk" is a joke based on the "Pepsi stuff" that you can win by drinking large amounts of Pepsi. Sprite's message is that there's only one reason to drink something, and it isn't to win junk. It's because you're thirsty. The kid drank 93,000 cans and got a useless sock that he was enormously excited about. Meanwhile, we all see how insane it is to drink more than a lifetime's worth of cola's all at once just to win a useless piece of crap, like one sock, or a sea captain. The irony is that by drinking Sprite, you can win an under-the-cap game and win some of the same stuff that Pepsi has to offer. >
