It was not so much a biography as it was an ass-kissing. Dreyfuss is not a genius, not funny and aging rapidly and badly.

But that's a wrong description. She looked very good most of the series. (at least until she started experimenting with different hair styles, and then she was in her....early 20's.) She's the only female comedian I ever found really funny, and choosing to become part of what was to become the funniest sit-com ever, at such an early stage, proved that she was a genius from the get-go.
Let's try Richard Dreyfuss again.

Why? Because I don't agree with the lemmings and worship her? She was a disaster on SNL and dragged the ensemble cast of Seinfeld down. She was given her role because of industry contacts and because there are some misguided people who find her attractive.

Listen, pal. You don't even sound like you're a fan of the show. The whole show, with it's ups and downs, was perfect as far as I'm concerned. She didn't bring anything "down", and I always found her *extremely* attractive for a woman her age (and I'm not easily attracted by women nearly twice my age). And if you're gonna act like a mean, mean critisizer, behind the backs of ladies who have *no* chance to defend themselves, you gotta handle some critisism of yourself.
