Someone posted an article about how Wings had been mentioned on Seinfeld and I thought it might be fun to make a list of other shows that have been mentioned on Seinfeld.

Wings and Melrose Place are the two I can think of right now, but I know there must be more. Can anyone think of others?

Kramer's favorite soap: "The bold and the beautiful" He mentionned this show in 2 episodes.

Susan mentionned that she taped "Mad about you".

Of course there was the mention of Melrose Place. The one where Jerry asks the female cop for a date and somehow they get talking about Melrose Place and does he watch it. He says no and then they give him a lie detector test and he breaks down and admits he watches it. Then at the end of the program it shows everyone gathered in Jerry's living room getting ready to watch Melrose Place and it cuts out after the theme song plays.

Elaine was writing a script for "Murphy Brown" in the episode where they were all switching their keys around (I forget what it's called).

How can we forget Murphy Brown? Kramer had a small role in that show as a male secretary (Candice Bergen cameo) and Elaine was secretly writing a script for it.

The 'Bold and the Beautiful" was also mentioned. A week ago I posted a list of about 8 shows mentioned on Seinfeld.

George and Susan watch Mad About You. It's part of a joke about how domesticated George is becoming. (Maybe the episode about the "death of independent George"?)

Actually, this is a bit confusing, since originally the two shows were supposed to exist in the same "universe." Oh well.
