larry david mocks 9/11???

mind if I ask a question about a "curb your enthusiasm" episode....i just sorta figure i'd find the answer here!

in episode 4x09 it seems to me that something has been cut to protect an american audience from jokes about 9/11. Here's the script...

It's in the scene where larry david has split wine on his suit and is about to go into the 'wedding' ceremony with his wife.

LD = Larry David RA = Rabbi

LD:allright everybody ready?, alright let's role RA:what?, let's role?, what did you say? LD:eh? RA;you knew that my brother inlaw died september the 11th, how dare you say something like that? LD:with all due respect wasn't that just a coincidence RA:WHAT THE HELL KINDA...YA KNOW I DON'T WANT TO DO THIS

The words "let's role" just don't seem to fit. According to the Rabbi LD took the piss out of 9/11? If he did I sure don't understand it.

Has a joke been re-written due to american tastes?
