This thing about the Seinfeld players Jewishness is weird. I seem to be picking up an idea that George or Jerry's ethnic. religious, or cultural background is an unimportant part of the characterization.
Of course its important. It is from all of these roots that a character becomes fully rounded, human and interesting.
OK, tonight they established without a doubt that Frank Castanza is Italian - - Period - - of course george's mom may still be Jewish
