Fans debate whether the character's name in "The Boyfriend" episode is "Kel" or "Kal," with discussion of whether it references Superman's real name Kal-El and noting Jerry's father shares that name.

Saw "The Boyfriend" and it sounds like "Kel" to me ?

Some websites say it's Kel, but others say it's Kal and a referance to Kal-El, Supermans real name.

I didnt tape it so cant check.

Any thoughts ?
