Kramer & Howard Stern

A couple of things: hitting your head, such as Kramer did, can give you what's called "neglect" where you literally don't know your right or your left exists. I've worked with people that old 'see' have of the food on their plate and don't cross the midline to find the rest of the food...or they dress only half of their body as Kramer did!

Howard Stern is a television talk show host and radio deejay in the New York/New Jersey area. He is known for his crude remarks to just about everybody and I have seen shows where he made guests cry and leave the stage. He also uses lots of big-chested women wearing next to nothing to do things like bring him a glass of water. In my opinion, he's not very funny...but he's been on radio & TV in NY/NJ for years. His behavior toward Jerry Seinfeld was typical...although mild compared to what I've heard & seen him do.

And New York is about the only place where Howard fits in. Many years ago (1984 or 1985), Howard was a DJ /Radio Personality in Washington, DC. He did essentially the same act. One of his last performances on radio here came just after the Air Florida Jet taking off from National Airport crashed into the 14th Street Bridge in DC. He called the Air Florida ticket counter that day, and asked for a one-way ticket to the 14th Street Bridge, and generally provoked and harassed the person.

The ticketperson broke down and cried on the air, and was obviously distraught. Air Florida was a close airline, and many of the co-workers considered themselves family.

Yes there is a definate trend here, but probably not the one you hope to imply. Clearly the trend is towards a less humane society in all of America's cesspools, um, make that big cities.
