😂 Loved it

Fans discuss their favorite Kramer verbal mannerisms and quirky lines, with examples like calling someone a "ribbon bully" and unintelligible utterances that are fun to decode with closed captioning.

Tough call--

my personal favorites are

AIDS walk woman: you HAVE to wear the ribbon! Kramer: you know what you are? a ribbon bully. *walks away*

Newman complaining about the radar detector not working, to which kramer replies no no, i don't think so, muchambo.

also more or less any time he leaves the room with an inaudible verbal gesticulation. like when he eats the 2 double-fudge sundaes after realizing that his love for Pam may never be fulfilled, and elaine notifies him in monks that jerry and pam's relationship isnt going to last because he isnt gaga. kramer leaves with "ga-deh!" or something... weird wild schuff.

anyway, im rambling.

anyone else?

Back when the episodes first aired, I taped them every week and watched them over the weekend. Whenever one of those unintelligible Kramerisms occurred, I'd rewind and turn on the closed captioning to see what they'd come up with (which would also drive my then-girlfriend absolutely crazy). Sometimes it was surprisingly accurate: "Ga-di-di-di" or something like that! :-)

Hmm, if only I could find a woman who'd appreciate my enjoyment of Seinfeld... <wink!>

Whoa, sorry 'bout that. You're our resident temptress and I couldn't resist your feminine charm! :-)

I can't. I'm not an orgy guy. I'd have to dress different. I'd have to act different. I'd have to grow a mustache and get all kinds of robes and lotions and I'd need a new bedspread and new curtains I'd have to get thick carpeting and weirdo lighting. I'd have to get new friends. I'd have to get orgy friends.

... Naw, I'm not ready for it. (and Dave smokes!) :-)

I missed the other parts of this thread, but quarte is the number four in French, not three.

To think, I may have actually put my college French to good use! I'm afraid that is all I remember though. :-)

I am a native French speaker who happens to teach French in college, and the French word for "four" is most definitely "quatre".

In "The Switch", Jerry suggested he, his girlfriend and her roommate engage in a "mnage trois" (Jerry+roommate+girlfriend=3). I suggested Mike, Dave, John and I engage in a "mnage quatre" (Mike+Dave+John+me=4).

Explaining things to death is all in a day's work, for I am Dr. Sophie, nutty professor by day, naughty professor by night.

LOL, I was waiting for that--I suspected "quatre" was correct from my hazy memory of college French, and I knew you were a native speaker of the language who would authoritatively settle the matter. :-)

Hey, I know two sentences in French! 1. O est l'affiche? 2. Je voudrais un concombre.

Pretty wordly of me, huh? Larry Miller has a great standup bit about his four years of Spanish--$10,000 of Spanish--and that since he could only remember two phrases each was therefore worth $5000. I only took two quarters of French, so each of my sentences is only worth a few hundred bucks. :-)

Hmm, I'm always the last man mentioned. However, that does put me closest to Sophie in both the list and the equation! Score!

Gulp. A French teacher?

Noooooo, *that* doesn't feed a fantasy or anything. Nope, not one bit.

Oh god, I think I'm getting turned on.

My french teacher was a fat old guy with tenure who was disliked among his department. For now on, when I think of French in College, I will think of Dr. Sophie in an Elaine-like low-cut dress. I imagine Dr. Sophie could really put "asses in seats" in her class!

I don't know the exact pronunciation, but I believe it's called "triple penetration"

The Man of PurposeChris

I've been thinking of this for a long time, and I've come up with three Kramer-lines that I think beat everything else in the show.

1. Kramer cooking in Jerry's kitchen: "Well I guess I got confused!" 2. Kramer accusing Jerry for looking for the key to the strong box: "Whatever I do, you gotta know all about it!". 3. Kramer coming out from the toxic gas in Jerry's place: "An hour and a half!".

That's it!

It may be because I just watched it last night, but I love it when Babu gives him the hot towel...and the one where he has too tight jeans is excellent ("I said SIT DOWN!")
