Could Susan's Death Be Avoided?

When George and Susan were told of the poor adhesive quality of the invitations, George suggested buying a bottle of Elmer's glue. It is my theory that Susan could have avoided her own death by listening to George. Perhaps it was suicide at the thought of a lifetime with George. Just a thought.

What makes even less sense, as others have pointed out, is that if she had to seal 200 envelopes, why didn't she use a dabber or sponge? Then again, it's best not to use logic when judging the show - that's part of its insane charm.

The show's certainly insane, but its not charming. The last episode is ludicrous and unbelievable to the point of being a parody of Seinfeld (in fact, thats exactly what it was, a parody of itself). It simply was bad.

Susan's death could not have been avoided. Larry David, Jerry Sienfeld, and Shoshana Lowenstein are frequent readers of this newsgroup. They wrote the story of Susan's death just to bother JCS. Just as JCS was acqused of "trolling" (writing insipid posts in an attempt to stir up emotions in a newsgroup), Larry, Jerry and Shoshana were simply troling for JCS when they killed off Susan.

Seems to have worked!

Its a travesty to see one with such intellectual capacities as yourself wasting time here on this newsgroup. You should be out solving all the world's problems. Someone so brilliant is doing a disservice to humanity by wasting even a second of their time.

On a more serious note, Susan's death was avoidable, since all that had to happen was a different script be written. You people really ought to tune in to reality once in a while. That was a really stupid question.

"Either you are completely for me, or you're completely against me." how did susan die?

She was killed licking 200 envelopes that George had bought for their wedding invitations. She died despite making it to the hospital and despite the fact that the toxin was described by the doctor as mild. By the way, for all you who think George should sue, he should sue the doctors at the hospital. There was no reason for her to die once she made it there.

Hey, why didn't George just suggest a 3-some to susan - maybe it would have finally worked like he thought it would in two prior episodes! :)

Just a thought!

Yes, Susan's death could easily be avoided. On the season premiere this fall, George could wake up and the whole episode of last season could be a dream. This would also mean that Jerry would not be engaged, since it might not be easy to get Janeane Garafola to be a regular this season with her hit movie "The Truth About Cats and Dogs." Then, maybe the episode could be about when George wakes up he realizes that he is still engaged and he has to think of a way to get out of it for real.

Yes, I think you have a good idea. I felt bad that Susan died. It really was a shame that everyone on the show is so shallow that they didn't even care that she died. They could have made it much funnier. Just my opinion.

Another Honorary Member of "The I want to be one of the Three Stooges Club" makes a brilliant point. Your substantive argument is beyond compare.
