If you happen to be close by, this is outstanding. (I recently attended the NYC Broadway show and it's nowhere as good.)

I have heard that its a pretty decent show, but when they do the classic scenes from The Holy Grail and what not, it just makes you want to watch the movie, because the original cast of characters was better.

Are you talking about the original Monty Python cast?? Nobody can come close to as good as them, NEVER!!!! Especially since it's THEIR material. I would take John Cleese over Peterman from Seinfeld anyday.

Any Python fan would know that video quality is irrelevant when talking about those classical films such as The Holy Grail and Life of Brian.

Spamalot is the only "Python" material that I know. (This is alt.tv.seinfeld and not alt.Python isn't it?) Nice video increases my enjoyment of anything; poor video plus poor sound (thank goodness for subtitiles) turns me off, particularly if I have to sit through 1.5 hours of it. I don't give a shit about your "video quality" comment, but the original cast does not "Stink out loud", whatever the fuck that means. All I was saying is that Peterman, who was on Dancing with the Stars and Family Feud, is not going to live up to the high quality that I expect from Monty Python. It's like doing Seinfeld with completely different actors, it wouldn't work. Don't insult the cast and not expect me to respond.

You seem to know this to be true even without having seen it. Everything under the sun can withstand improvement. I have the DVD, seen the current Broadway and Vegas productions and am stating my opinion (without out resorting to the "F" word) which seems to differ from yours.

So by that logic, I guess "Citizen Kane" pales in comparison to say... "Rush Hour 3".
