plays George's mom, I think i saw a movie of hers from 1970 called

Watermellon Man.

Her name is Estelle Harris.

Did anybody see the gas-x (or similar product?) commercial she was in? It's been a while since it was on, but I can remember that she definitely portaryed her character on the show. Wasn't as funny as Jerry's American Express commercials, but still pretty good.
