A Question

In the show (not for real) who do you guys think made the most money of the four????

Obviously not Kramer. I would guess it would be George, but Jerry always had a lot of money. And lets not count out Elaine. Just wondering!

I think it was Kramer because he does not have to work,he prbably has quite a stash somewhere.

Kramer didn't work because he was on strike. that means he got his income from the union.

George never held onto a job for long. Remember, he had to move back in with his parents. He doesn"t seem like the type to save for the future. The Yankees probably paid him fairly well, but he lost that job too. If only he had married Susan, he would hae gotten all of her millions.

When Elaine wanted to move into Jerry's building, she had to scrape together every cent she had just to pay the security deposit. That was before she found out she had to pay an additional $5,000.00...which Jerry was in a position to lend her (after Kramer prodded him into it). She most likely made good money at J Peterman during the last few seasons.

We saw Jerry going to and coming from jobs a lot more often in the early seasons than we did later. I don't think this means he was working less as theseries went on...just the plot devise of having him going to the airport or walking in the door with suitcases got old after a few times. He never seemed to want for anything material, so I assume he made a nice living for someone who never held a job.

And then there's Kramer...he's the wild card in this deck. The only real job we kow of was working in the bagel shop (not counting male model or JPeterman Reality Tours or when he faked working in that office...he didn't do them for the money) So, where's his money come from? I don't think we ever found out...it's one for the ages.

Interesting question. I always thought it odd that Jerry Seinfeld was friends with people who probably made less than him. He always was going off to gigs (in the earlier episodes he did this a lot and we saw him at the comedy club at the beginning and end of the show and often during ths ep). He was playing himself. Before the show he was a well-known and liked comedian, that's who he was playing, himself. (Did I say that enough? :^) But an interesting question is, if Kramer could live without working and still go to movies and restaurants, still live like his friends did, he maybe had quite a bit bankrolled.

It has to be Jerry. In the episode where Jerry buy his father a Cadilac, all three other characters were shocked at how much money he made. From their reactions, it seemed Jerry made more than they did.
