KRAMER, MY IDOL

Is it just me, or are there more people who wish they could go through life like Kramer. Everything he does is cool. He doesn't get angry, whiney, or upset at ANYTHING. Sure, he isn't employed, but who would hire him anyway (except for Calvin Klein). People may wonder why Jerry and George have such bad luck with women. If they just payed more attention to how Kramer handles the situation. That's how he hooked up with the naked woman across the street.

I know it's probably stupid to idolize a character on a television show (especially one like Kramer), but you've got to admit, if there were more people like Kramer, there would be less violence, hatred, and stress in the world. The Cuban cigars, the sublime buttocks (not my words), that great wardrobe; who could ask for anything more.

By the way Michael Richards should have gotten the Emmy. Maybe I'm prejudice, but he was great on Friday's back in the 80s, too. I'm a big fan!

Kramer definately makes the show. He IS the epidemy of COOL! (To Jerry) "You Stink! (nice hand gesture)", comes to mind from the Valet show!

We need some to make up T-shirts with a picture of Kramer leaning against Jerry's kitchen bar, with the words "I'm out!" underneath. Only the Seinfeldheads would get it.

You're right Tim. I guess what I meant was, he doesn't get upset for long. He's just so funny, that I didn't think of that as being upset. If you're going to flame me (you barely know the guy) over something that minor, maybe you should get out more often. I was just expressing my overall opinion of the BEST character on the show. I guess I should've gone in and nitpicked everything Kramer did in every single scene he was in before saying anything. Sorry to disappoint you.

Not to fan the 'flames' here, but by bringing up the Keith Hernandez moving bit (sarcastically as a positive example), Tim was *disagreeing* with Brian's assertion that Kramer never gets upset.

Brian's un-Kramer-like reaction (for which he has humbly apologized...twice!) was caused by mistaking the "You barely know the guy" quotation as being directed at him. Many of us Seinfeld gurus watching on the side-lines know that quote to be part of Kramer's protest to Jerry over the Hernandez move.

I wanted to help clarify, and I wanted to take the opportunity apologize to everyone in the group. (I missed out on the last apology thread)

No, No, No! That really (honestly) was not meant as a flame. I'm in the same boat with you - Kramer makes the show, IMO, what it is. He is incredibly funny! In fact, that is why I mentioned the part about him getting excited when Jerry was going to go help Keith H. move - his reaction was hilarious! One of the highlights of the whole show. Again, no flame intended. Sorry.
