worst episode

DITTO - I actually, brace yourself, turn Seinfeld off when this episode begins. Just can't deal with it - too annoying, and I miss Kramer and George.

Although I admit someone here made a good point that it could be because I am not Jewish, nor do I know any in Jerry's parents' age group and therefore, cannot identify with the characters. Personally, all I can think is how did Jerry turn out so normal (except for being single, thin and neat - not that there's anything wrong with that) growing up with those parents. Of course, if people had to watch my family interact on TV, they'd question our sanity as well.

I'd have to say, as an avid Seinfeld watcher/lover that probably the *worst* Seinfeld ep is the carpark one. I dont recall the name, but where elaine hs a fish, and both George and Jerry are arrested for peeing in the complex. This episode has to be one of the worst... anyone agree?

No, I thought that episode was funny, at least that could happen. I think the worst was the episode where he couldn't get the smell out of the car, that was kind of stupid.

how about the episode where elaine drags jerry (and george?) to a party where he knows no one and they need kramer to come pick them up.

Actually, it was George who drove Elaine and Jerry to the party and left them stranded after leaving with a woman from his office (a really early episode since George has a job other than working with the Yankees). It can't be the worst because it includes Elaine's immortal retort "Maybe the dingo ate your baby" and Jerry being falsely arrested for having a prostitute in his apartment. It was in general a slower moving one though.

You have got to be kidding. That is one of the best episodes and shows Seinfeld in its purest form - A show about nothing. It's like the chinese restaurant episode. Although we all laugh at their antics, it's these type of shows that make Seinfeld the greatest sitcom ever.

Next you're going to tell me you didn't like the concept of doing a pilot about the show.

I think the worst one is the ep where Bette Middler is playing George's baseball team and he injures her. Wasn't it a season finale? If it was, it was even more pathetic than I thought.

the worst episode was this season's opener. it does not bode well for life without Larry David. All the situations were far too broad. The pieces didn't fit together, altho the writers tried to force it. And it was truly about nothing.

Are you kidding? The Parking Garage episode is definitly in my top top ten, along with the chinese restaurant and the subway episodes. However I have several people who hated it.

I just saw by far the worst episode tonight. It was the third show ever, I think. It started with a standup joke about women and writing checks. It had a different actor for Jerry's father (and an unknown uncle, too!). The only good acting was by George, but the plot was very dry and tedius (about Jerry going out with a friend of Elaine's and trying to do it behind her back). As this was one of the first episodes, and can only hope that not too many viewers were introduced to Seinfeld by it!

Nah, that one wasn't the worst... the worst was the hour long episode with the mechanic stealing Jerry's car, with elaine's boss' golf clubs, kramer and newman chasing... ugh... I don't even like talking about it.

   That was the worst one, his father was a total egg. Did you all know
that the lady who plays his mother was James Dean's girlfriend for a
while? I'm a Dean expert so I know. The pilot wasn't really for Seinfeld,
it was for The Seinfeld Chronicles.
   George's favorite drink is Bosco. Remember when that lady who married
that Kennedy guy poured the Bosco on George's shirt, and he tried to get
back at her for it, at her baby shower?
   The Best Elaine moments: Jerry:"How did you do it all those times?"
Elaine:"I was good." Elaine (to the Russian Guy): "The original title for
War and Peace was War, War, What is it good for? Absolutely Nuthin' HUUH!"
 "The Dingo took your baby". "Get OUT!!" (I use that myself!)
   Kramer always keeps up with the ladies. Remember Mona? Remember that
time he stayed too long at the tanning booth? Just because we've never
actually seen Cosmo kiss anyone doesn't mean he hasn't.
  George is a product of his family. His mother and father are nuts. If he
isn't an only child, and he has a brother or sister in hiding, that's
probably where they'll stay. Any existing Costanza siblings will just stay
missing in action. His mother.."I go off for a few hours, I come back and
my son is treating his body as if it were an amusement park." His
father.."George, you're a buxom man like I am." CRAZINESS!! Any other
product of the Frank-Estelle (whatever her name is--I keep forgetting
)union will just stay wherever they've been for the past eight years.
   In response to the rumour, how will Shoshanna play Kramer's sister?
That seems pretty wild--not the age thing. Doesn't she go to school back
East anyhow? Would Jerry have a romantic entanglement with her, like how
Newman (Curtis is my guess) hooked up with Cosmo's mother? For all we
know, he's still engaged to Janeane. They make a really good match, he
didn't dissect her like the rest of his girlfriends.
  That's pretty much it. We'll all talk Thursday night/Friday Morning?

I disagree. I think this was an excellent episode. I can definitely relate to not being able to find my car in a crowded parking garage. (Esp. when I'm carrying something, like Kramer was carrying that heavy box or like Elaine had those live fish).
