I was passing channels today at noon when I saw Kramer (well the actor, not Kramer) in a movie in WTBS. The movie is from 1982, "Young Doctors in Love" with Sean Young. It's one of those "Police Academy' type of movies about young doctors in training at hospital.
Kramer (well, the actor) is shown being confused for an operation he didn't have to have. He acts just like he does in Seinfeld. Maybe that is the way the actor really is! and he's just not acting in Seinfeld.
I think Michael Richards is a very talented actor, who excels at physical comedy. He has been on several talk shows and is intelligent and articulate. I also think he is really attractive!
Actually, this isn't the case at all. He's quite "normal" in real-life and in interviews he's admitted to getting irritated when people see him on the street and go, "Hey, you're KRAMER, right?", and look at him expectantly to do some sort of Kramer tic or cry out with a "ohh...YEAH!"
I just saw the movie "Untamed Heros" or something w/ richards in it and that lady from Groundhog Day... it was great!!!
The movie was Unstrung Heroes, directed by Diane Keaton, with Michael Richards, Andie MacDowell (Sex, Lies and Videotape & Groundhog Day), and John Turturro (Barton Fink & Quiz Show). Michael Richards plays an eccentric uncle who lives with his brother.
I believe the uncles' characters were based on the infamous Collier brothers in New York who never threw any garbage away and ate only oranges. One of the brothers would walk several miles a couple times a week to buy the oranges. Does anyone know more about these guys, or know where I might read about them?
Guess what? Kramer is starring in an upcoming hollywood movie called "Trial and Error" probably as a lawyer. Coincidentally his screen name is called Richards. Looks like he's doing pretty well. You guys better support him when it premiers.
