was it just me, or was that episode that stupidest, most pointless episode ever? i love seinfeld--even the new stuff(especially THE VOICE) but this episode was just plain bad. i didn't mind elaines part, but JERRY's PARENTS should just be banned from the show---they are completely not funny. also---Lloyd bridges's plot was retarted, it made no sense, and his character on the show is pitiful. and why did KRAMER give Jerry his blood? a hospital wouldn't do that, and it just seemed off. as did the flow of the show--the character's weren't themselves. george's part got really boring after a while---it just didn't seem right. sorry about critisizing the show---but it was a very bad episode. let's hope next weeks will get back o ntrack. and one final not--i'm not trying to start a war with those who liked the episode, so please don't got insane if you disagree. dan ps- RATINGS(by me:) the butter shave-B- the voice-A- the serenity now-C the blood-D+ (these grades were posted in the SHS Tower newspaer)

Thank you for that great post! I thought I was the only one who actually liked the Blood! While it may not have been excellent, it was still a good episode with all of your typical Seinfeld ingredients. A couple parts were unrealistic but sometimes the writers have to do that in order to move a storyline along. I believe this will be a memorable episode with many stand-out scenes: Kramer and Neuman's little dance, Elaine's purse troubles, Geroge trying to eat pastrami on rye & have sex, Jerry screaming when he realizes he has Kramer blood. And, I thought Jerry's parents were hilarious! "Eat a plum!"

I gotta agree. The flow was a definate problem. And while there usually isn't a point to the show, it was really absent from this one.

Agreed.....if you go back and watch some of the episodes from years past, they all had great FLOW. Fast, but funny. It built up towards an ending.....
The writing is also a major problem. I can't believe that writers, professional writers, can't come up with something funnier than babysitting and blood.
My advice: go back and watch some early episodes....watch what made you funny.
I have to say, I *love* Jerry's parents! They are so funny! Why in the world was his Dad wearing those glasses! :) I laugh whenever I think about it!

I agree with your opinion of "THE BLOOD" show. Seinfeld is my favorite show. Although I didn't watch the first two season's just because I never knew what I was missing, I have enjoyed the show ever since. I enjoyed this season's first three shows but found myself not amuzed with last Thursdays show and fell asleep during the show. I even asked my wife after I woke up if the show got funnier and her response was "no". However, I'm not that dissapointed, I'm just looking forward to next Thursday night's episode.
Of course it was bad, they've got a load of childish writers that haven't a clue what they are doing writing all of these episodes.
