I was watching Northern Exposure on 2/1. Joel Fleishman went with O'Connell to visit her very WASPy family in Gross Point, Michigan. Her grandmother cornered Fleishman and told him that she had never really met a Jewish person before, but "I see them on TV sometimes. People like that comedian, Jerry Seinfeld, and that skinny Mr. Know-It-All on 'Murphy Brown'."

Needless to say, being Jewish and a Seinfeld fan, I was ROFL.

but it wasn't anywhere near that funny. it was hardly funny at all. i am a Seinfeld fan as well, but i'm not jewish. i guess you have to be jewish to laugh at THAT.
