Is anyone getting tired of messages with the subject "XX/XX show is worst ever". I mean if you hate the show, why do you watch it? If you think Seinfeld is a has been then stop watching the show. And give us all a break.

I don't mind, because I know that if someone on this newsgroup posted a message like that, then the episode MUST be a good one.
Those messages spring up after every episode, be it "The Chicken Roaster" or "The Money". You get used to them.

**Nope..he isnt the only one....if you dont like it..dont watch it..Why take the time and effort to gripe about it here if you dont like it.... criticize the episodes if you want....not as good as this one...and such..but if you dont like a show.,,, again, why take the time and effort???.....Maybe I should go to alt.tv.startrek and wonder why people watch that stuff...or alt.tv.scifi etc....

Oh boy. It is not really a stand alone tool. It is generally a functional part of the newsreader itself (except AOL's clearly doesn't have this :).
Your best bet is either to change ISP's (and then newsreaders) or petition AOL to include killfile capability to their newsreader. While you are at it, ask them to give you folks the ability to quote previous posts as well.

Personally, I love reading the reviews of shows, both negative and positive, and "worst episode ever" is a thread I never fail to read. But please, try to give *reasons* when you post something like that...

Exactly...why else do you think we keep reading and posting to this newsgroup, after all there is only so much "Didn't Jerry look good today?" type messages that can be posted. I relish and look forward to seeing a new episode and then debating the finer points of it in an INTELLIGENT manner...when people say "I hated it" or "I loved it" and don't give reasons, they don't show me much intelligence unless they can back up their opinions with some examples or some specific points, and why they did or didn't like that...
