I kind of get the feeling that the Seinfeld gang was saying to an audience setting such store on a finale to end all finales...the people who stop their lives to watch the show...the people who get so wound up in the show to GET A LIFE!

But one of the main points of the show has always been that the characters DON'T pay attention..don't learn much if anything..or at best learn very slowly..but that's true for most of us I suspect. just look how it ended, with the talk about buttons on George's shirt, same banter as in the pilot. Yes, the shows popularity is a reflection of our times, and we all pay a big price..but its probably more therapeutic to laugh at our tragic flaws than to sit wringing our hands, and no doubt it does cause us to question our attitudes a bit in spite of ourselves. e n s tThis episode was an abomination. Too be honest and sincere, I feel cheated and frustrated. (Yeah, I'm exaggerating) For how many years have we sat in front of the TV and reaped the efforts of the fine writers and actors on Seinfeld? To finish on this low note, is baffling.
Personally, I loved wasting my Thursdays with the crew and wanted more. .......Do I have to get a life now? Shucks!!!
