I alays wondered about his parents driving off in the Cadillac but it was explained earlier in a post - thanks

In the episode with Bette Middler (the Tanya Harding spoof) Kramer is sent for ice cream for Bette during the baseball game - he is then seem running back with the cone - Why? Was he supposed to run into Bette instead of George - or was there some other meaning - or was there any meaning?

I think the idea was to create a fatalistic expectation that his running would somehow impact the action abruptly - you didn't know how, but you knew something would happen. This type of thing shows up in movies all the time.

I thought that it was just that Kramer was trying so hard to please Bette that he was running to get it to her.
