Episodes that never aired?

I know there's a discrepancy between how many episodes are documented in the episode guides and how many epsiodes there are by Jerry's count. Does this mean there are episodes that were filmed but never aired?

No the discrepancy lies in the fact that some people consider one hour special seinfeld episodes as one episode but Jerry counts them as two episodes. It is also true that some eps were never aired but it is not the cause of the discrepancy. Nbc is considering airing ( I think there might be 4 ) new episodes next season as specials Kramerzz wrote in message ...
