You call that a FAQ?

For a recluse who tapes every episode (and wrongly expects that his tapes will last for decades), this is a pretty shoddy FAQ. And it just happens to come out a few weeks before the show is going off the air for good. Congratulations Dave, you have produced the most pathetic, egocentric, late and incomplete FAQ of any show on the Internet.

Holy cow. And what have you done? Those who can't, critique.

The sad thing is you can't, and probably never will, see an objective view of your personality.

Watch out, Dave. Next she'll come after you for a refund on the valuable moments she spent downloading it.

I guess I haven't noticed Dave's attitude much. What sticks out to me is a newsgroup dedicated to a tv show where some people love the show and other people seem stuck in the "glory years" and slagging the new shows. Me - it's a show. I like watching it, but it doesn't affect my sleep habits if a show's great or not great.

Marjorie's post was just venomous. If Dave's an egomaniac, he's an egomaniac who's put some effort into a document for the newsgroup, for his own and our gratification. Her anger seemed disproportionate to the situation. Don't take your anger out on the usenet. Save it for the highways. :)

Thanks for the kind words, Doc.  I think something that many
people fail to realize is that an FAQ is ALWAYS a work in progress.
And you are absolutely right about the amount of work involved.
I had no idea going in.  I anticipate that it will be a well polished
document before the final episode is aired.

I read through the FAQ and thought it was great. It covered lots and lots of detail that I wouldn't of thought of myself. Whoever is complaining has a real problem.

What the hell are you talking about? The show "stops production" on May 14, 1998. It will never go off the air because of syndication. I guess Margie isn't as smart as she thinks.
