A Boomer Allusion would be a cultural allusion that a baby boomer would be most familiar with. Since the writers and actors of Seinfeld are mostly baby boomers, these allusions find their way into many shows. Last night (8/1) I spotted two of them. The first when Kramer gets on the phone to speak with Dr. Reston (Elaine's boyfriend/shrink), while he waits for Dr Reston, he starts singing to himself: Johnny Yuma was a rebel, he roamed through the west. This is an allusion to the 1960's(?) television show The Rebel starring Nick Adams.
Another allusion - and I'm not sure if it is strictly a boomer allusion - was Jerry's reference to the "bizzaro world" - where you haggle with someone to give you less money than they had originally offered you. The Bizzaro World was featured in Superman comics and was a world that existed in another dimension where everything was opposite of earth. Bizzaro earth, seen from space, was square.
