Seinfeld Universe

Has anybody else bought this book? I just picked it a couple days ago. Listen to this quote about Elaine. "She has created a character women want to be and men want to date." Are there any women on this list who want to be Elaine? I don't. I used to like her character but her dark side is just getting way out of hand. I was especially appalled when she called Kramer a jackass on 10/17. He *was* taking time out of his day to help her and did not deserve that kind of abuse.

Well maybe jackass is to harsh a word, but after knowing someone for many years and to still not know a friend's last name definitely says something about Kramer (its BENES not BENETT). Also Jerry's smirking digs are just as offensive as Elaine's more explosive insults.

It's worth every penny of the $9 something just for the classic photos - Jerry in shoulder-length hair, Michael looking dapper and Larry and Michael looking quite nerdy in a classic photo from "Friday's" OMIGOD! Larry had hair!

I could go on and on, but I only just got it today and only browsed through the pictures...Oh yes, Kenny Kramer (as in "The Real") has a great photo and lotsa inside info...

EVERYONE is in it - Wayne Knight, the parents, even our own "Vandelay Industries" got a nice blurb.

Gotta go pop some corn and read the darn thing!

I agree. Her dark side is getting worse and worse. And she's way too shallow for my tastes. And too sarcastic, mean, downright cruel, etc. But I like her character on the show, nevertheless. There's a big difference between liking a character on a show and liking them in real life, though. :) She's attractive and can be charming at times. I'd probably want to go out with her if I had only limited knowledge about her and had just chatted with her a few times. But I know SO much more about her through the wonders of television. I don't recall the "jackass" comment to Kramer but she sure has been nasty to George in the past. George is afraid of her, as he said himself, and with good reason. So add another vote to the list of guys who wouldn't want to go out with her.
