remember the episode where Kramer and Jerry were banned from the fruit stand? George was sexually impotent because someone mentioned impotency to him and we all know how suggestible George is. anyway, after tasting a bit of sweet mango, George l00ks down and says "I think it moved!"
well, in an episode i saw the other day, George used that line again, aghast that it might have "moved" in response to George getting a massage from a male massuer- masseur- massage guy. George was TERRIFIED that he might actually turn gay! (not that there's anything wrong with that.)
I had an idea for a plot for Seinfeld (as I'm sure lots of people do.) Is there anyplace I can send the idea to that I will be sure someone close to the show will read it? I didn't want it to get lost in the zillions of other mail I'm sure the writers and Jerry Seinfeld get.
I would appreciate anyone's response. Has anyone ever heard back from the writers?

This is from the chapter, "Breaking Into Show Business." There is more to this chapter and I suggest you pick this book up or one like it. These guides will remind you that breaking into writing is a hard uphill struggle requiring chutzpah, luck, hard work and talent.
According to this book, they say small independent production companies are always looking for stories (not plots for sit-coms with a stable of writers doing that job already). If they like your idea then they ask for a script or "treatment."
As you can see it is not enough to have an idea--you need to be able to write for television. Heck, remember Jerry and George's struggles during the Pilot shows. They had an idea, but they had to go through all sorts of people to get a pilot made that never got picked up. A lot of work, but if you wanna do it, go ahead.
Thanks for all answers to my Seinfeld request. Since I am going to visit Canada (and might even stay) in September, I was wondering if anyone, who is living in the Ottawa area, taped most of the Seinfeld episodes? Could over European stuff! =
