I think I have a close guess.

In the episode where they started at the end and went back in time every few minutes until you see the beginning at the end. (It was about a marrage and Elaine slept with the Groom) Anyway... There was a fat guy that Kramer hit with a snowball or something. The two also broke a wishbone I think and Kramer lost...well after Kramer lost the wishbone breaking Kramer said something like..."You have been the thorn in my side since we were kids" Now since that guy was only in 1 episode and never heard from again I don't think that would make him the RIVAL.

How about the guy that Kramer is always trying to get THE JACKET from????? That incident came up in about 4 or 5 episodes.

What about Slippery Pete? I recall the episode "The Frogger" and it showed a rival type thing when Kramer and Slippery Pete argue over Kramer stealing his mail order bride.

Good one. I think it was his last name and was "Grosspart" or "Grosspard" or something, not "Gross Bart".

I believe it's Cedric (sp?) and Bob. And I think only Cedric is Hispanic. My 2 cents: Due to his unsophisticated, child-like innocence, Kramer is a friend to all. Remember, even the dreaded Soup Nazi says Kramer is the only one to understand him. The much hated Cable Guy caves into Kramer's powers and actually apologizes and changes his ways. He is accepted by crusty old folk at the retirement village, and respected by both Jerry's and George's parents. Women love him because he has the "kavorka". Like the Christ figure, Kramer is all forgiving, accepted at many levels among us. But there is a tension between Kramer and Elaine. Elaine dislikes Kramer for the trouble he causes her, - dancing to loud African music in her apartment and leaving tomato seeds in the strainer, seeing her naked!, making her late to visit her father, taking the nipple picture, ... There is a similar tension between Kramer and Susan - he calls her Lily, throws up on her shoes, and burns her father's cabin down, ... So both Elaine and Susan see Kramer in a realistic way but don't act on it because the guys idolize him- Jerry respects Kramer as his opposite self, messy, less inhibited, unencumbered by societal expectations, and free of any work ethic, ... George respects Kramer's fantasy camp life, being successful with woman ... without dating, and having money ... without having a job, ...

ALSO, in the "Backwards" episode when Elaine and George and Jerry head off to India for Sue ellen's wedding, Kramer has it out with ... what's his name?" the chubby guy who uses his birthday wish to wish Kramer dead... because Kramer hit him with a snowball...remember?

FDR doesn't cut it as his rival... Kramer made up with him at the beginning of the show (or was it the end?) He hugged him and said "Thank you FDR!"

How about Mary Hart?

Lloyd Braun (or is it Bron?) was George's arch-nemesis, mainly due to Mrs. Costanza always telling him, "Why can't you be more like that Lloyd Braun?"

He was an advisor to Mayor Dinkes and boyfriend of Elaine, he was institutionalized (much to George's delight), he had a source for Chinese gum (Jerry: "It tastes Lo-Meiny..."), and he was George's competitor in selling computers for Mr. Costanza ("Serenity now, *insanity* later...").

That's off the top of my head, so I've probably forgotten some additional appearances or misremembered details.

Well there was that guy that wanted his coat back. He had to work against the law at sometimes. Other than that I think he was good with everyone

I'd say he didn't have a rival. A rival would have to be someone that appeared in at least a few episodes.

Nah, Sue Ellen Mishke was in enough episodes. The FAQ lists four (The Caddy, The Bottle Deposit, The Absinence, The Betrayal).

What about Crazy Joe Davola? He kicked him in the head, but luckily Kramer had the helmet on then. Would a friend kick someone in the head? No, but an enemy would. Granted, an insane enemy, but an enemy nonetheless.
