In a scene in "The Letter," Elaine is in Mr. Lippman's office and says that her presence in Maryland must have "boyd" her ailing father's spirits. Mr. Lippman corrects her, saying, "Bouyed. You said boyd." Is or was Boyd the name of a Yankee? I don't follow pro sports enough to know. Was this an extra joke I missed?
