Commentaries

I find the commentaries on the DVDs by JL Dreyfus, M Richards and J Alexander quite boring. If these are what they got extra paid for, then it is a huge waste of money.

For long periods of time, they don't say anything. It is also not very interesting to hear 3 persons laughing for 20 seconds in a commentary. And when they say something, it's like "I haven't seen this since it was originally aired"...

There is no interesting background info as there is when Jerry Seinfeld or Larry David comments.

i agree. at least Alexander DOES have some good comments at times. as for Richards.... ???? come on, man! why did he need to be there? VERY very quiet. also, at least Alexander was aware of the silence... at one point he apologized for NOT commenting - admitting that sometimes "you just have to watch the show".

I just watched a commentary episode where JS and LD are supposed to provide commentary, and they likewise hardly said anything, and laughed alot at what they were watching. It was "The Pen" (Season 3 Disc 1).
