Shot by a jealous husband?? I mean, come on, the guy died from being 85. Actually I was pretty amazed to discover how old he was. He must have been 78 when he did Hot Shots, at which time he could have passed for 65. I guess most people today will remember him from Airplane, but that's only because most of the people who saw him in High Noon died before he did.
