Not the Same

The show hasnt been the same since the original producer left. I think his name was Littlefield or something. The only episode I think that was good in the last year and a half was the episode where Kramer took up karate. The Blood episode was not good and I thought the Serenity Now episode was weak.

Thank you for saying what has been on my mind lately too. I agree that this seasons shows have been below par - the writing just isn't as crisp as it used to be, and the performers look like they are really trying hard to salvage a basically poor script. I credit them for a good effort, but even the best effort can't save such lame scriptwriting.

I'm still trying to pin down exactly what is missing, but I know it's there. I just don't laugh nearly as much as I used to, like at the earlier season's shows. Those shows could elicit several really good laughs from me, whereas this season I only have one or two per show. The really bad thing is the increase in the number of groans per show this year. I make a groan whenever I see something that reminds me of something I might see on another typical sitcom that I make a pointed effort not to watch. Seeing such mediocrity leak into Seinfeld is certainly disappointing.
